Absolutely fantastic experience at Ruggs. The sheer volume of game birds is overwhelming exceeded only by the knowledge staff. Pete and Tim were awesome guides. Keith's cooking was beyond gourmet and Gene's dogs were the best. And thanks to Vicky for keeping all the balls in the air! From rolling grassland to beautiful tried high country this place has it all!

We spent several days at the ranch and loved it! From the wonderful meals prepared for us by Keith, to the intimate and beautiful lodge, vast views, and comfortable surroundings - it was a memorable stay. We didn’t come to Ruggs for the eclipse, but what a bonus being able to view from the ranch! There are lots of beautiful outdoor spaces as well as darts, pool table, and keg in the game room – fun for all. Ruggs is a special place that we’d love to come back to!

Awesome vacation experience at Ruggs Ranch in the hunting off season. Hiked, fished, shot sporting clays, rode horseback. Beautiful setting. Very clean and comfortable accommodations, staff is wonderful! Great overall stay. We will be back! P.S. While we were horseback riding I cannot tell you how much wildlife we encountered. From deer to birds, even elk!!!

5 stars does this place no justice. This is a real working ranch! My husband and I have always wanted to do all the things this place offers for a long time. After looking at several different places we found Ruggs Ranch, after talking to Vicky and Gene we immediately knew we made the right choice. On a scale of one to ten.
I have done a lot of hunting through out this country and Ruggs by far and away was the best place I have been. It's sheer size makes all others seem small. The variety and abundance of game birds is awesome - so much fun. It has everything covered for a successful hunt along with great accommodations and food. I was part of a group and beyond the great hunting - there is something for everyone with shooting clays, horses, and opportunities to see different areas of the ranch. Already booked another trip.
This place is a must weather you hunt or just want to get away.No place like it!
